HOW IT WORKS
Day Classes: All regular attendees will see one opening speaker Sunday. Two main speakers a day - Monday thru Wednesday, and one main speaker Thursday. A total of 8 main speakers. 101 class: is a beginner basic photography class and will stay with Mary Fisk -Taylor and Jamie Hayes Monday thru Thursday. You have to sign up specifically for the 101 class, limited space available. (the winner of last years print competition attended the 101 class, so it's very educational ).
Shooting Lab: The shooting lab will be open from 8:30am to 10pm everyday. The lab is an open area with 10 to 20 shooting bays. You choose a model from the model room, bring your camera into the lab and shoot in a bay. We encourage you to change the lighting set ups and use whatever props you can find. If you have any questions there are "coaches" available to you to answer them. Coaches do not have cameras, they are there to assisit you . You can choose to go to class, go to the lab or check out equipment and a model and shoot by the pool!
Evenings: In the evening everyone is welcome to join our Beer and Photoshop sponsored by Pro4um. This class covers basic photoshop to advanced. You will want to bring your laptop computer to manipulate the images you have been shooting in the lab or on location. We also have a great Boudoir class, you won't want to miss.
Sunrise & Sunset Shoots: A coach will take a group of attendees on location to shoot at sunrise (6:15am) or sunset (7:15pm). Anyone can attent these shoots by signing up at the registration desk. Don't forget your camera!
Print Competition: After capturing great images, we ask that you choose one to enter into our print competition sponsored by White House Custom Colour. This image needs to be ready for entry on Wednesday. WHCC will then print a 16X20 of your image to be used in the print competition on Thursday at the banquet. We will all participate in judging the images by spending our LPE bucks on whatever image we like best (this is totally anonymous). The image making the most money wins. We have up to 20 great prizes donated by our vendors. So Don't Miss Out !!! Enter your image.
